Touchdesigner Journey

Why Touchdesigner?

I decided to start learning Touch Designer for my senior thesis, an interactive movement experience called Movement in Motion. Using programs such as Ableton, Touchdesigner, Kinect, and coding language p5.js. My project focuses on improving memory and mental health through an interactive game using motion sensors. Movement in Motion will be added into this website soon.

Nodes

The visual experience is made up of nodes, these small rectangular boxes on the screen. A node is the holder of an operator and all its associated information in a TouchDesigner network.

Process

Using an Xbox Kinect, I was able to utilize the infrared sensor to monitor movement.
